What I've been...
LISTENING TO
June was my final push to finish THREADED and a good binge helps keep me focused. The Opportunist was just that. I particularly enjoyed the mini-series about Denis Rodman. He and other athletes were working with a money manager in the 2000s who was stealing their money. The host goes back and learns about early scams this woman did on people from as early as 21.

READING
This is one of my favourite genres, historical fiction. I particularly enjoyed that the author looked at both sides of the Pacific War. He created American characters that attended school in Japan and vice versa, so throughout the novel, they look at both sides of the war and see the ego behind each of the ruler's decisions. It was very well written, with thoughtful characters and I can't wait to dive into book two.

WATCHING
Larry David is a comedic genius and I adore his take on the world. He speaks the uncomfortable truth and watching that unfold on Curb Your Enthusiasm makes me laugh endlessly. The beauty of his show is the improvisation, it is unpredictable, which breaks from the norm of formulaic comedy shows.
